This document will guide you step by step in creating SSL Certificates and setting up the OsiriX HTTPS Web Server and DICOM TLS Listener.

OsiriX Secure Web Server Setup

Creating a Self-Signed Certificate

The easiest and quickest way to create a certificate is to make a self-signed certificate using the Certificate Assistant.

The problem with self-signed certificates is that they will not be trusted by default on your users' computers (they may receive security warnings).

But it could be useful for testing purpose or internal use.
